About Us

Chevallier Dr.K.C.Rajabather was born in a village, in Agriculturist family. Lost his father at the age of 4 years, studied in a small village school, and shifted his family to nearby town Tindivanam, Villupuram Dist., Which is the most backward Taluk economically and educationally in Tamilnadu.

He had his vision at the age of 13 years to promote his village by establishing higher Educational Institutions in the rural areas especially for women. He achieved them by establishing several Educational Institutions in different disciplines in 4 Districts in northern Tamilnadu as he dreamed at the age of 13; he founded an Art and Science College for Women and College of Education for women in his own village.

Due to his efforts and sincere hard work and creativity and innovation he created enormous awareness among the people off all caste, religion, poor and rich to get educated and he worked for the eradication of illiteracy found among the village people for which he was awarded best voluntary agency award.

He enrolled hundreds of Gipsee Children (Narikuravar, Tribles, Nomads) in his managed Muslim Aided School and made many of them Diploma holders, Engineers etc. It is one of the major worth mentioning achievements.

He has established and founded Tagore Educational Society , it is a Government of India approved voluntary agency to implement Adult Education, Non format Education. He has established CBSE School, Matriculation Higher Secondary School, State Board Schools, ITI, Paramedical Training Institutions, School of Nursing, Vocational Training Centres, Commercial Institutes, Catering Institute, Hotel Management Colleges, College of Education Teachers training Institution, Nursery Teacher Training Institute, Arts and Science College, Distance Education Programme approved by 3 Universities. He was the first man to introduce Computer Education from KG class to +2 in 1980 in the South Arcot District.

He is a very successful journalist running RNI registered monthly journals from 1978 and from 1999. The Tagore Educational News is one of the journals published and edited by him successfully for the past 17 years without any commercial advertisement published in the journal; it is brought out exclusively for education. This journal mainly responsible for many changes found in the Department of Education in Tamilnadu. If a research is made on this subject will prove our statement in true.

Most of his suggestions offered for the improvement of quality in education are accepted and implemented by the Government of Tamilnadu.

To create awareness among the youth he brings out a free home journal on what to study?, where to study? What are more hob oriented courses? Etc., and distributes throughout the Taluk, door to door during summer vacation every year in the towns and remote villages.

It is recognized as a great service by the village, less educated people.

He is also the Founder, Managing Trustee and Chairman for Indira Gandhi Jayanthi Educational Cultural and Charitable Trust.

He is also the Managing Trustee and Founder for the Dr. Anbarasu and Dr.Rajabather Educational Charitable Trust.

He is also the Managing Trustee for the ‘The Centenarian Trust’ which was founded by the former planning commission member of India and former Vice Chancellor Dr.K.Venkatasubramaniyan patronized by the former President of India late Hon.Shri.R. Venkataraman,Hon.Shri.C. Subramanian/ Ex. Minister.

Providing free education and scholarship to hundreds of poor students in his own established and managed schools and colleges from 1974 to till date. Several thousands of children’s from poverty stick free ford for girls college students were given in his own women’s college family were given half fee and full fee concession in the past 42 years.

He has authored Noble Laurels of India and My thoughts on Education 2 books which are approved by Government for Government Libraries.

He was nominated by the District Collector , Villupuram and Sub Collector , Tindivanam as advisor committee member for the District Social Welfare Department/ south Arcot District, as a advisory committee member for Prevention of Trafficking and combating commercial sexual exploitation for Women and Children, served for 5 years in the Committee and Tindivanam Town Development Committee, Hospital Development Committee, Tindivanam Town.

State President for Tamilnadu Private ITI Association (Regd) for 16 years, Ex President Tamilnadu Private Aided Schools Managers Association Vice President, Federation of Private ITI Association of India.

Served as Asst. District Commissioner – Bharath Scouts & Guides & organized Campuri at Tindivanam in Walter Scudder Higher Sec School.

He was awarded by the Bar Council of Tindivanam as the Man of the Century Award in 2000 for his meritorious service for the cause of Education in the Villupuram District at Tindivanam. He established Educational in Villupuram District Cuddalore District, Kancheepuram District and Chennai District. Now resideing in his native town Tindivanam.

As the Founder of the Indira Gandhi Jayanthi Memorial Educational Calutural and Charitable Trust, he provided free non meals for 200 Indira Gandhi Jayanthi Women’s College Students for more than 7 years.
